Arden Consulting Engineers Ltd. provides services to the government and private sectors in the fields of onsite wastewater treatment, water supply and water treatment. We specialize in the design of water and wastewater treatment systems for rural areas not connected to the municipal infrastructure. Range and scope of services includes Environmental Impact Study reports for land dispersal of effluent, process design for wastewater treatment plants, subsurface evaluation and design of large and small scale septic systems, feasibility assessments, rural water supply, distribution and treatment.

We provide services for water supply and treatment, including well pump testing, water quality evaluation and water treatment required to service new lots, work camps and commercial developments.

We also provide support in the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment systems.

A site feasibility assessment is conducted to determine the property’s ability to support an on-site sewage disposal system

Arden Consulting Engineers Ltd. is a consulting engineering firm specializing in the design of decentralized water and on-site wastewater treatment systems from initial site reconnaissance, to system design, to construction review.
Our staff prides themselves on their ability to provide affordable and practical solutions to onsite wastewater treatment problems. We are up to date on the latest legislation and policy governing sewage disposal. Staff regularly attend national conferences in the on-site wastewater treatment industry to stay current on new and innovative technologies. Arden Consulting Engineers Ltd. has an outstanding reputation with regulatory agencies and in assisting homeowners and developers in obtaining sewage disposal permits. Obtaining an onsite sewage disposal permit is always the first step and often limiting factor in developing lands due to ever changing and stringent regulations governing sewage disposal. We specialize in designing innovative systems for properties exhibiting unfavourable soil conditions. Our in depth knowledge of materials and mechanical equipment comprising sewage disposal systems leads to practical cost efficient designs.

Ring Border Gas Plant – Fort St. John

Golden Quill
Provided engineering services for the design and construction of water treatment works to service an existing 46 lot subdivision. The treatment works included microfiltration, granular activated carbon, UV and chlorine to meet surface water treatment rules and remove the boil water advisory.
Kekuli Bay Estates
Provided engineering services for the design and construction of new water treatment infrastructure to service the existing 16 lot subdivision. The project was undertaken in order to meet the local health authority requirements for surface water treatment and terminate the boil water advisory.

Provided engineering services in conjunction with Ecofluid Systems Inc. to for the design and construction of an onsite wastewater treatment system for a LEED platinum building. Fraser Valley Duck & Goose Farm

Jones Lake
Completed the design of a new community sewage disposal system to replace an existing failed system for 22 private recreational cabins. The site provided unique challenges as it was remote, seasonally occupied, in close proximity to the Lake and not connected to the power grid.
Harrison Hotel

Services included feasibility assessment, well flow testing, environmental impact study, detailed design for the septic field, water treatment plant and sewage treatment plant as well as tendering, construction review and commissioning.
Britton Creek Rest Stop
Arden Consulting Engineers in conjunction with Kala GeoSciences completed the design for a new subsurface pressure distribution septic field and sewage treatment plant to replace the aged existing system. The system services a busy highway rest stop and was designed for a peak flow of 26 m3/day.
Zopikos Truck Brake Check Washrooms and Rest Stop – Ministry of Transportation
